Ministry of Finance: More than 2 trillion rubles are provided for the development of education in the next three years

More than two trillion rubles of state budget funds will be spent on the implementation of the state program "Development of education". This was announced by the Ministry of Finance today.

The "Education Development" program primarily involves major repairs of schools and kindergartens, as well as the construction of educational facilities from scratch, the organization of hot meals and payments to teachers for classroom guidance.

Today it became known that 669.1 billion rubles will be allocated for these purposes in 2026, and 719.5 billion rubles in 2027. In 2028, 806.9 billion rubles will be spent on the implementation of the program.

In addition, it is reported that 396.3 billion rubles are provided for inter-budget transfers in 2026. This is almost 60% of all expenses of the state program.
