In 2026, April, July and October will be the most profitable months for vacations, while January and May will be the most unprofitable. This is reported by TASS.

Russians who decide to take a vacation in January and May may lose money if they work on a salary. The reason is the low number of working days in these months, as vacation pay is calculated based on the average monthly salary of an employee. The situation with February is not much better.

It is most profitable to go on vacation in the months with many working days - April, July and October. The remaining months of the year are considered average in terms of profitability, and employees who go on vacation will not notice a special loss in money.
