Funds from the National Welfare Fund will not be used to cover the budget deficit this year. This was announced by Anton Siluanov, Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, during a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes today. According to the minister, based on the forecast and estimates, this is simply not required.
