FSB officers prevented a terrorist attack, prepared by the special services of Ukraine together with ISIS (banned in Russia) in Moscow, against a high-ranking officer of the Ministry of Defense. This is reported by the Central Control Center of the FSB of the Russian Federation.
Among the detainees are three Russian citizens and a native of Central Asian countries, who was supposed to act as the direct perpetrator of the terrorist action.
The men were recruited by the Ukrainian special services and received explosives from them to commit a terrorist attack. The explosive device was planned to be detonated in a densely populated area of Moscow, it was supposed to hit people within a radius of 70 meters.
According to the FSB, the operation was led by a functionary of the Islamic State (banned in Russia), Saidakbar Gulomov, who was involved in the murder of the head of the RCBZ troops, General Kirillov.
