Sales of new motorcycles in Russia increased by 22%

In August, 5,8 thousand new motorcycles were sold in Russia, which is 22% higher than the same period last year. This is reported by the analytical agency "Autostat".

The majority of the market was occupied by Chinese motorcycle brands (72%). The second and third places are occupied by Indian (7%) and Russian (6%) motorcycles. The TOP 5 includes Japanese (4%) and American brands (3%).

The Chinese brand Regulmoto remains the market leader in new motorcycles (980 units of equipment were sold in August). It accounts for 17% of total sales. Next are the Russian brand Racer (sold 508 units) and the Chinese Motoland (475 units).

In just 8 months of this year, 42,000 new motorcycles were sold in Russia. The year-on-year growth was 17%.
