Against the background of a reduction in the key interest rate, the rate on the preferential loan program for small technology companies will decrease. This was announced by Alexander Isaevich, CEO of SME Corporation, TASS reports.

The preferential rate for small tech companies will be 10% per annum (calculated using the formula "key rate minus 7%").

Investment loans for small and medium-sized businesses in priority industries will be available at a rate of 13.5% (according to the formula "key minus 3.5%").

Credit conditions will also change for machine tool and robotics enterprises. According to the terms of the program, in the first year the preferential rate remains fixed at 5% per annum, in the second year it will be 9.5% (calculated using the formula "half the key rate +1%"), in the third year - 11.5% per annum (according to the formula "half the key rate +3%").

- The key rate directly affects the availability of debt financing for businesses. Reducing the "key" allows you to continue reducing rates on preferential programs for SMEs, which allows entrepreneurs to become more actively involved in the implementation of long-term projects. This is especially true for priority industries with long production cycles or high resource and knowledge intensity. The new conditions for programs implemented by the corporation together with relevant ministries will affect not only new borrowers, but rates will also be reduced for previously issued loans," Isaevich stressed.
