The United States lifted sanctions against the Belarusian airline Belavia

At a meeting with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, US Presidential representative John Cole announced the lifting of sanctions against Belavia Airlines.

According to Cole, the decision was made after a telephone conversation between Donald Trump and Lukashenko. Trump ordered the immediate lifting of sanctions against Belavia, and this decision has already been approved by all relevant US agencies.

The meeting took place on Thursday in Minsk at the Palace of Independence.
