A regulatory framework for the creation of an air taxi is being prepared in Russia.

The Federal Air Transport Agency has begun consulting with aircraft manufacturers on the creation of an air taxi, and an appropriate regulatory framework is being prepared. This was reported by TASS with reference to the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Dmitry Yadrov.

According to Yadrov, the creation of an air taxi in the Russian Federation is a matter of the near-foreseeable future.

"We simply will not be able to keep this in any way, and we are doing everything to ensure that the necessary regulatory framework for certifying such machines is already being formed today, and we open the door for manufacturers so that they do not see additional barriers when creating them," Yadrov emphasized..
