Siluanov: The budget will be formed based on the average oil price of $59 per barrel

The Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov reported on the parameters of oil and gas budget revenues for 2026.

According to the Finance Minister, the budget will be formed based on the average oil price of $59 per barrel. Siluanov explained that this forecast is based on the estimates of analysts who predict the price of Brent at the level of $60-65 per barrel in the medium term. This takes into account the existing discounts for the Brent brand.

The Minister also noted that the draft federal budget for 2026-2028 will be developed in accordance with the principles and rules established by law.

Siluanov paid special attention to the relationship between the budget deficit and monetary policy.
