An import-substituted sample of the MC-21 medium-range aircraft has completed ground frequency tests with the help of Yakovlev specialists (part of the UAC). This is reported by the United Aircraft Corporation.
The tests took place in the final assembly workshop of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. The specialists checked the operation of the domestic power supply system, hydraulic system, integrated control system, chassis system and radio electronic equipment created at Rostec enterprises.
"An aircraft that has passed frequency tests is protected from the occurrence of dangerous resonant structural vibrations in flight," the UAC explained.
Passing this stage guarantees the reliability of the aircraft and brings it closer to the first flight.
