The Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency will discuss cooperation mechanisms in connection with airport restrictions

Next week, the Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency will discuss mechanisms for departmental cooperation during the period of restrictions at airports. This was announced on the air of the radio station "Mayak" by the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Dmitry Yadrov.

Yadrov stressed that a number of proposals will be considered, but flight safety will remain the main priority when making decisions.

According to him, services are currently provided at Russian airports in accordance with federal aviation regulations. Passengers of cancelled flights are provided with water and food, and if necessary, passengers were promptly provided with mattresses. Rosaviatsia also continues to work on improving passenger comfort on board aircraft while waiting to disembark.

Due to the threats of drone attacks, cases of restrictions on aircraft reception and departure have become more frequent at Russian airports.
