Major egg producers have ruled out slaughtering laying hens due to lower egg prices

Major egg producers such as Okskoye and Leto called it impractical to get rid of laying hens due to falling egg prices. This is reported by TASS with reference to representatives of the companies.

The producers noted that the process of raising laying hens requires financial and time investments.
