The government is discussing the need to introduce a complete ban on gasoline exports

If necessary, during a period of increased demand, the government may decide to completely ban gasoline exports, including for manufacturers. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

According to him, an assessment of the situation on the fuel market will be carried out in the near future to understand the need for such a measure.

gt;- During the period of increased demand, we imposed a ban not only on non-manufacturers, but also on manufacturers. Therefore, if we consider it appropriate and the situation requires it, we will also impose an export ban," TASS quoted Novak as saying.
