A criminal case was opened in Dagestan on the fact of mass poisoning with tap water.

More than a hundred residents of Dagestan turned to doctors with an acute intestinal infection. Upon the fact of mass poisoning, the regional Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article "Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements".

Mass poisoning was recorded in residents of five settlements of the Magaramkentsky district of the republic. It is assumed that the reason for the spread of intestinal infection was the use of water that enters the homes of local residents through the central water supply. Rospotrebnadzor has launched an epidemiological investigation.
