The average income that Russians would like to receive was 146 thousand rubles. This is reported by the newspaper Vedomosti with reference to the results of a survey conducted by the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

In 2025, the median value of the desired salary in Russia is 110 thousand rubles per month. Compared to 2024, this figure has increased by 16%.

Among Russians without work experience, the desired income is 92 thousand rubles, the median value is 73 thousand rubles.

Residents of Makhachkala (213 thousand rubles), Khabarovsk (188 thousand rubles), Moscow (185 thousand rubles), Irkutsk (175 thousand rubles) and St. Petersburg (166 thousand rubles) had the highest salary expectations.

The survey was attended by 7 thousand respondents, it was conducted in cities with a population of more than 500 thousand people.
