Revenues from the oil and gas sector fell by 34% in June%

In June 2025, revenues from the oil and gas sector fell by 34% to 495 billion rubles, reaching the lowest level since January 2023. In the first half of the year, revenues decreased by 17% to 4.73 trillion rubles. The drop is due to the fall in Urals oil prices and the strengthening of the ruble.

In May, the price was 52.1 dollars per barrel, in June it was 59.8 dollars.

The Ministry of Finance lowered the forecast for oil and gas revenues for 2025 to 8.3 trillion rubles and reduced the oil price target to 56 dollars.
