Ex-Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Baryshev was given 3 years in a penal colony for falsifying documents on the right to housing
The court found Pavel Baryshev, the former deputy head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, guilty of fraud on an especially large scale and forgery of evidence in a civil case. This is reported by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
According to the investigation and the court, in 2017-2019 Baryshev provided forged documents about his right to housing, as a result of which he received a three-room apartment in the Moscow region, causing damage to the state on a particularly large scale.
The court sentenced him to three years in a penal colony and a fine of 200,000 rubles.
