The fully import-substituted MC-21 aircraft will take to the skies in August.

The MC-21 medium-range passenger aircraft with all Russian systems will be launched in August. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov during a meeting of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy.

Earlier, the partially import-substituted MS-21 began certification tests.

Production and delivery of the airliner to the market are scheduled for 2026.
