An agreement on the creation of a Russian-Indonesian investment platform with a capital of 2 billion euros was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), RIA Novosti informs. It was signed by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the Indonesian sovereign wealth fund Danantara Indonesia to finance joint projects in both countries.
The new platform will become a tool for expanding trade and economic ties and technological exchange between Russia and Indonesia. The main focus will be on:
Investments in promising companies;
Development of joint projects in energy, infrastructure and agriculture;
Technology transfer and exchange of innovative solutions.
Kirill Dmitriev, Head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, noted that the agreement strengthens the long-standing partnership between the two countries.:Russia and Indonesia have long-standing and close ties. The agreement between RDIF and Danantara is an important step towards expanding mutual investments, given the significant potential for joint projects in energy, infrastructure, agriculture and other strategic sectors.
The document was signed by Kirill Dmitriev (RDIF) and Rosan Ruslani, CEO of Danantara Indonesia. The initiative is expected to give an impetus to the development of bilateral cooperation in the coming years.
