In 2024, domestic automakers produced 830,000 units of equipment, which is a third higher than the level of the previous year. This was announced by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Mikhail Mishustin during a strategic session on the development of the automotive industry.
We are talking not only about passenger cars, but also about trucks, commercial and urban transport.
Mishustin noted the need to increase the production of domestic vehicles, including those running on alternative fuels, as well as the formation of a modern ecosystem around the automotive sector, increase the level of service, and build comfortable refueling and charging facilities. All this will contribute to strengthening the technological sovereignty of the country.
