Renault companies may close the possibility of returning to the Russian market due to the assistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

French automaker Renault, by providing assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, closes the possibility for itself to return to the Russian market. This opinion was voiced by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov on the air. href="https://www.rbc.ru/interview/business/17/06/2025/68510f219a79471b9e3f4eb2">РБК-ТВ.

- So far everything is going to what they have been doing and are doing to ensure that this option (repurchase - note) is not possible to implement, - said Manturov.

He recalled that the company had interrupted all supply chains and had not provided any assistance to Avtovaz in this regard. At the same time, Renault continues to supply equipment to Ukraine. These factors will be taken into account if the company wants to return to the Russian market.

Manturov also said that currently there is no information about plans to return to Russia from other automakers - Hyundai or Toyota.

Earlier, European media reported that Renault plans to build a factory for the production of drones in Ukraine.
