Fittings in the Russian market have fallen in price to a minimum since 2022

As of the beginning of June 2025, prices for rebar products in the Russian Federation dropped to 36 thousand rubles per ton, which is the lowest since the end of 2022. This is with reference to the data of the rating agency "Rusmet&"transmits "Kommersant".

Market experts attribute the decrease in the cost of fittings to a decrease in demand from the construction sector against the background of a high key rate. At the same time, a further decrease in prices in the coming months by 5-7% is not excluded due to an excess of supply over demand. Positive trends in construction are predicted by market participants no earlier than 2026-2027.
