The Cabinet of Ministers abolished increased import duties on some socially significant goods

The Government of the Russian Federation has abolished the increased rates of import customs duties on a number of socially significant goods. Medical, dietary and specialized food products from unfriendly countries fall under this norm.

We are talking about specialized nutrition for premature and underweight newborns, for children and adults with various diseases (metabolic disorders, diabetes, cystic fibrosis and cancer). The decision to abolish the increased import duties is intended to ensure a variety of products and increase their availability on the Russian market.
