In January - April, 71.7 billion rubles were paid to Russians for CTP

Over the four months of 2025, the total amount of payments to car owners for CTP amounted to 71.7 billion rubles. This is reported by the Russian Union of Motor Insurers (RSA).

Of the total amount of payments, 67.7 billion rubles are payments from insurers, 3.2 billion rubles are court overheads and 0.8 billion rubles are payments from the compensation fund of the Russian Federation.

It is reported that in January-April, the number of CTP contracts concluded increased by 14.7% compared to the same period last year, to 15.2 million, 1.2 million of which are short-term compulsory motor liability insurance policies.
