Russia has returned the first group of servicemen under 25 years of age from Ukrainian captivity

In accordance with the Russian-Ukrainian agreements reached in Istanbul on June 2, the first group of Russian military personnel under the age of 25 returned to Russia from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime. This was announced on June 9 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

In return, the Ukrainian side received the same number of prisoners of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The agency does not provide accurate data on the number of military personnel who participated in the exchange from either side.

The exchange took place on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. All necessary medical and psychological assistance is provided to the Russian military. In the future, they will be taken to the Russian Federation for treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions of the Ministry of Defense.
