According to the results of January-May 2025, 25 million decaliters (dal) of vodka were produced in Russia, which is 13.2% lower than the same period last year. This is reported by Rosalokoltabakcontrol.

Production of cognac decreased by 19.5%, to 2.7 million dal, alcoholic beverages - by 3%, to 6.6 million dal, and other alcoholic beverages - by 13.3%, to 3.12 million dal. At the same time, the production of champagne increased by 17.8%, to 6.01 million dal, grape wines - by 10.4%, to 14.7 million dal.

In general, since the beginning of the year, the production of alcoholic beverages has decreased by 20.4%, to 59.96 million dal: the production of alcoholic beverages with a strength above 9% fell by 12.1%, to 37.41 million dal, low-alcohol products - by 92.9%, to 599.7 thousand dal.
