NWF volume increased to 11.7 million rubles by summer - Ministry of Finance

As of June 1, 2025, the volume of the National Welfare Fund (NWF) amounted to 11,696,343.9 million rubles (5.5% of GDP), which is equivalent to 148,776.1 million US dollars. This is reported by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.

The NWF funds are placed in separate accounts with the Bank of Russia as follows:

153,698.1 million Chinese yuan;
139,509.1 kg of gold in anonymized form;

1,271.3 million rubles.

Thus, the NWF demonstrates a significant amount of funds deposited in various currencies and precious metals, the agency reports.&
