Foreign airlines may revise their flight schedules to Russia in favor of daytime flights due to the suspension of airport operations. However, they will not completely abandon flights to Russia, said Artur Muradyan, Vice President of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

According to him, carriers are trying to reduce night flights due to the increased risk of sky closures. At the same time, they make super profits on Russian passengers, tickets to Russia are 20-40% more expensive than on other routes.

Turkish Airlines previously suspended flights to Moscow, but this did not affect the tourist flow to Turkey, which remains moderately positive. If Turkish Airlines reduces flights, other airlines will take their place, Muradyan added.
