The Russian government has announced a set of measures to support the domestic IT sector.

The Government of the Russian Federation has announced a set of measures to support the domestic IT sector. First of all, it is planned to create a specialized technological platform for the collective digital design of complex products.

To enhance the integration of software solutions, mandatory requirements for compatibility of application software with Russian operating systems and databases will be introduced. Customers who implement domestic software will receive tax benefits.

Domestic applications that do not depend on international products will receive priority in public procurement and will be marked separately in the Russian software registry.

"An important element of support will be strengthening the protection of critical infrastructure. On behalf of the President, amendments have been prepared according to which all key information systems of large enterprises will be included in the list of critically important facilities.
