Developers will be supported by the purchase of unsold housing for the emergency fund

The State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services has developed a new program to support development companies. According to the proposed initiative, the state plans to buy unsold housing from developers for subsequent transfer to citizens resettled from emergency homes.

The program mechanism assumes financial support for construction companies through the guaranteed purchase of a certain volume of apartments. This will allow developers to reduce the risks of overstocking the market and obtain a stable source of financing for the implementation of new projects.

The initiative is aimed at solving two tasks:

Support for the construction industry and promotion of housing construction. Acceleration of the program of resettlement of citizens from the emergency fund.
