682 billion rubles were allocated from the Russian budget for the implementation of agricultural programs.

A round sum of 682 billion rubles has been allocated for the implementation of state programs for the development of agriculture in Russia. The data was released at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Agriculture, dedicated to the results of last year.

> As reported, the financing allowed us to preserve the main support tools and served as the basis for stable production. Last year, plant growers harvested almost 130 million tons of grain and showed decent results in other crops.

« The sowing season of 2025 is in full swing now. Spring sowing was carried out on 75% of the area. The planned limits of state support by the Government of the Russian Federation have been reached. I ask the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia to monitor the progress of work and the provision of farmers with means of production, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said during a speech at a board meeting.

He recalled that the President of Russia has set a task to increase the production of agricultural products. So, by 2030, grain harvests should reach 170 million tons. Milk production should be increased by 4.5 million tons, and meat production by almost 3 million tons.

Patrushev said that since the beginning of the implementation of the state program "Land", almost 2.5 million hectares have already been put into agricultural circulation. By the end of 2025, the figure should approach 3 million hectares.
