Russia and Ukraine exchanged prisoners according to the 307 for 307 formula

On May 24, a prisoner exchange took place between Russia and Ukraine under the 307-for-307 formula, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation informs.

The servicemen were returned in accordance with the Russian-Ukrainian agreements that were reached on May 16 in Istanbul. The Russian military who were in captivity arrived on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. After a medical examination, he will be sent to the Russian Federation for treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry noted that the large-scale exchange initiated by the Russian side will continue.
