In the second half of 2024, the share of mortgage loans in Russia for a period of 30-31 years decreased to 14% (-3.6 percentage points), according to the Bank of Russia.
At the same time, 62% of all loans still go to borrowers who will be 60 years old or older at the time of repayment. Of these, 23% are citizens 65-69 years old, and 18% are 70-75 years old.
