The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, told the details of the participation of North Korean troops in the liberation of the Kursk region. Earlier, this information was confirmed by Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov.

Maria Zakharova said that North Korean military personnel participated in the operation to liberate the Kursk region of the region under the fourth article of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Russia and the DPRK.

The agreement between Russia and the DPRK was signed in June 2024.
