Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared an Easter truce. 

"During the meeting in the Kremlin, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief listened to a report by Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, on the situation on the line of combat contact and said that the Russian side was stopping all hostilities," the Kremlin said.

The Easter truce will be in effect from 18:00 on April 19 and until midnight on April 21.
