The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have attacked the test site of the Ukrainian Sapsan tactical missile system, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation informs.
lt;p>OTRK was struck on the evening of April 18th. For the strike, the Russian military used high-precision land-based and sea-based weapons. Support was provided by unmanned aircraft systems.
The Russian Armed Forces attacked the Sapsan test site and the Norwegian NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems covering it.
The development of the Sapsan OTRK has been underway in Ukraine since 2006. The Yuzhmash plant was responsible for the project. In November 2024, it was hit by the latest Russian Oreshnik missile.
