The Government of the Russian Federation has approved a large-scale road construction plan for 2024-2030 with total funding of more than 9 trillion rubles from the federal budget. According to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, it is planned to bring at least 85% of federal highways and at least 60% of regional roads to a standard state within the framework of the program.

Special attention will be paid to the development of the Russia transport route, which includes the Neva and M-12 Vostok highways. The new plan includes the construction of a section about 300 km long - from Yekaterinburg to Tyumen. In just six years, it is planned to build and reconstruct more than 3,500 kilometers of roads, as well as complete the construction of at least 50 detours around settlements.
