Russian airlines have maintained passenger traffic at the level of 2024

At the beginning of 2025, Russian airlines maintained their traffic volumes at the level of the same period in 2024. According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, in January of this year, passenger traffic amounted to 7.85 million people, which was 0.34% higher than in January 2024.

In the first two months of 2024, the total volume of traffic reached almost 15 million passengers.

By the end of 2024, Russian airlines transported 111.7 million people, showing an increase of 6% compared to the previous year. 84.7 million passengers were transported on domestic lines, which is almost 2% more than in 2023. International traffic increased by 20.1% and reached 27 million passengers.
