The Public Services portal has introduced the Life Situation service to help you apply for a pension. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko, head of the government staff.
With the help of this service, Russians will be able to apply for a pension, apply for its delivery, receive a certificate of pension amount, as well as other information related to social support measures and benefits for pensioners. Thanks to it, the time required to receive public services is reduced by 2 times, from 10 to 5 days; the number of required documents is reduced by 6 times, from 19 to 3; the number of mandatory visits to departments is reduced by 5 times, from 5 to 1 visit.
In the future, the functionality of the service will be expanded. In particular, they plan to add the possibility of issuing an electronic pension certificate through a personal account at Public Services. With its help, pensioners will be able to visit museums and theaters for free, receive discounts in pharmacies and shops, and use discounted transportation.
