The government has held a weekly meeting of the government commission for coordinating work to eliminate the consequences of the tanker crash in the Kerch Strait.

At the moment, the dismantling of the aft part of the Volgoneft-239 tanker has been completed by 50%, and more than 350 tons of metal have already been recycled. It is planned to complete the work by March 31.After the ship is disposed of, the technical banding structure will be dismantled.

The land is being cleaned in all areas.

In the Krasnodar Territory, Rospotrebnadzor laboratories analyze soil and sand samples on beach areas. A preliminary assessment of the compliance of the affected beaches with sanitary standards will be carried out by March 1. Decisions on the opening of beaches and the format of the summer tourist season will be made only after confirming their compliance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor.
