Support measures will be prepared for the agricultural machinery industry

The Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Industry and Trade must coordinate and approve the necessary support measures for the agricultural machinery industry, which will take into account the current economic situation. This instruction was given to the departments by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak following the results of the last meeting devoted to issues of increasing the sustainability of certain sectors of the economy.

Support measures should be agreed upon no later than the beginning of the sowing campaign.

Among the support measures discussed during the meeting were: preferential leasing, preferential loans, deferred payment for scrap collection, discounts for farmers when buying domestic equipment, and more.
