Deputies of the State Duma adopted the law on extending the maternity capital program until December 31, 2030 at the plenary session. The draft law was proposed by the Government of the Russian Federation on December 19, 2024 and involves amendments to the law On Additional Measures of State Support for Families with Children.
According to the explanatory note, about 5 million Russian families will be able to use the right to maternity capital in the period from 2027 to 2030.
