India and Russia have signed an agreement aimed at simplifying cooperation between their defense departments in organizing joint events. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
On February 18, Russian Deputy Defense Minister, Colonel General Alexander Fomin, met with Indian Ambassador Vinay Kumar. As a result of the meeting, a bilateral agreement was signed between the governments, which simplifies coordination between the Ministries of Defense of both countries when conducting joint activities by the armed forces. During the negotiations, the parties stressed the importance of this document for future military cooperation and confirmed their intention to continue strengthening cooperation within the framework of a particularly privileged strategic partnership.
