Over the past week (from February 10 to February 16), the volume of Russian gas transferred to Europe via the Turkish Stream gas pipeline has updated its historical maximum. This is reported by TASS with reference to data from the European Network of Gas Transmission System Operators.

Thus, during the reporting week, pumping through the Strandzha - 2 compressor station, located on the border of Bulgaria and Turkey, reached 396 million cubic meters, which is an absolute weekly record for supplies since 2020 (the year the pipeline was launched). Gas pumping from the Russian Federation through this branch line is breaking a record for the second week in a row (392 million cubic meters the week before).

gt;Also last week, a new record was set for daily pumping volumes - 56.7 million cubic meters.

Overall, in February, the average load of the gas pipeline was 10% higher than in January 2025 and 12% higher than in December 2024.

The Turkish Stream is the only gas pipeline through which Europe receives gas.
