Online commerce in Russia grew by 41% in 2024%

Online commerce in Russia in 2024 showed an increase of 41% compared to the previous year, reaching a volume of almost 9 trillion rubles.

Of this amount, 97% is accounted for by online purchases in domestic online stores and on Russian marketplaces, while cross-border trade accounts for 3%, which amounts to 270 billion rubles. This was reported by the Association of Internet Commerce Companies (AKIT). RIA News.

In total retail sales in 2024, the share of online commerce was 16.2%.
