A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump may take place at the end of February, TASS reports, citing Western media.
Next week, high-ranking representatives of Russia and the United States will hold a meeting in Saudi Arabia to discuss the details of the meeting between the leaders of the two countries. The details and the list of participants are still being agreed upon. The Saudi side will be represented by the Minister of State for National Security, Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban. The delegations will try to determine the date of the summit before the beginning of Ramadan.
On February 12, Donald Trump held telephone talks with Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky. After a conversation with the Russian leader, he announced a decision to immediately begin negotiations on Ukraine.
