According to the results of last week, gas supplies from Russia via the Turkish Stream gas pipeline to Europe set a new historical record. This is reported by TASS with reference to data from the European Network of Gas Transmission System Operators.

Gas pumping through the Strandzha - 2 compressor station, located on the border of Bulgaria and Turkey, reached 390 million cubic meters from February 3 to February 9, which is an absolute weekly record since the start of deliveries in January 2020. The previous weekly maximum was recorded from January 13 to January 19 (376 million cubic meters).

Today, the Turkish Stream is the only gas supply route from Russia to Europe after the closure of transit through Ukraine.
