FAS asked manufacturers of dry building mixes to explain the reason for the price increase

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia has announced plans to analyze prices for dry building mixes. As part of the analysis, products such as plaster, putty, tile adhesive, waterproofing compounds and masonry mortars will be considered.

Thus, the FAS has requested information from leading manufacturers on the production, sale and full cost structure of these mixtures. If there is a price increase in the period 2024-2025, manufacturers will have to provide written explanations of the reasons for such an increase.

In case of detection of violations of the antimonopoly legislation, appropriate measures will be taken.
