Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin gave instructions following the results of the strategic session on technological leadership. The instructions are aimed at providing key sectors with technologies independent of foreign manufacturers. In particular, it is planned to make new materials and chemicals, means of production and automation, nuclear and energy technologies, transport mobility, unmanned aircraft systems, food security, health-saving technologies and the development of the orbital group technologically independent.
The instructions stipulate that by March 20, project supervisors should consider additional requirements and provisions for inclusion in project passports. The methodology for calculating the technological independence index will also be approved by March 20. And by April 1, it is necessary to select industry competence centers and appoint their heads. In addition, Mishustin instructed to work out proposals on the specifics of the implementation of national projects by April 20.
