Alcohol production in Russia fell by 27.8% in January%

By the end of January 2025, Russia produced 8.78 million decaliters of alcoholic beverages. Compared to the same period last year, production decreased by 27.8%. This is stated in the materials of Rosalokoltabakcontrol.

In particular, the production of low-alcohol products decreased by 98.7%, to 11.5 thousand dal, beverages with a strength of more than 9% - by 28%, to 3.36 million dal.

Thus, the production of vodka decreased by 32.2%, to 3.36 million dal, cognac - by 3%, to 498.4 thousand dal, alcoholic beverages - by 21.6%, to 995.7 thousand dal, other alcoholic beverages - by 27.8%, to 421.2 thousand dal.

At the same time, the production of champagne and grape wines increased by 23.4% to 1.1 million dal and by 16.5% to 2.24 million dal, respectively.
